Description:

Wildlife management is the science and art of managing wildlife with which we share our planet. Maintaining the proper balance and the dynamics that go with it requires humankind’s attention. This includes managing and maintaining wildlife habitats of all kinds. Fish and Wildlife Management Merit Badge looks at what we can do to protect the wildlife around our planet and the role that is placed on society to protect the wildlife for future generations to enjoy. Earning Fish and Wildlife Management Merit Badge is also an elective for the World Conservation Award and the William T. Hornaday Award.
